Christopher has been telling me about podcasting this morning. It made me yearn for my radio show days, especially in the sense that it's a self-driven exercise in terms of scheduling.
Really, I barely have time to do my laundry regularly, let's not put another have-to-do on the list just yet.
Next Friday is my birthday, which seems less important than the anniversary of moving here: August 3rd. Ironically we'll be in Paris. Well, maybe it isn't so odd because it will be our first trip to the continent and we wouldn't be able to do that without months of planning if we were still in the old country.
So many friends and relations are having/had little ones, I have to make a list of knitting projects for each so I don't get lost. It's a bit sad as two old friends just had - or will have soon - a baby and we won't be able to see either of them for some time.
I love living here, but sometimes it feels odd that no one around us has known us for more than six months. Then again, some days that can be a definite plus.
